GamerLegion have made Stage 1 look far more difficult than many expected, but I still trust them more than BIG in this matchup. The loss against BetBoom was disappointing, yet BetBoom are arguably the strongest team left in the stage. BIG, meanwhile, have mostly done what was expected of them, but they haven’t shown enough to suggest they’re ready to beat one of the Stage 1 favorites in a qualification match.
A lot will come down to the supporting cast around REZ. GamerLegion don’t need another superstar performance from him if Tauson and Snax simply return to their usual level. BIG have enough firepower to make this competitive, especially through blameF, but they often struggle when opponents can consistently match them in mid-round situations.
This feels like a series where GamerLegion finally settle down and play closer to their actual level. BIG should take a map, but over a full best-of-three, GamerLegion still look like the stronger team.
