This is probably the closest matchup of the entire 1-1 bracket, and the odds reflect that. Both teams have looked competitive despite sitting at 1-1, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this one comes down to just a handful of rounds.
BIG pushed BetBoom much harder than the final score suggested, while MIBR finally found their rhythm against FaZe after coming up just short against B8 in Round 1. The addition of nqz already seems to be paying off, giving MIBR more stability around the AWP, as well as another experienced voice in important rounds.
The deciding factor for me is momentum. MIBR have looked better with every game they’ve played, whereas BIG still haven’t quite convinced me despite showing flashes of their potential. This feels like one of those matches that could easily finish 13-11 either way, but if I had to pick a side, I’m giving MIBR a slight edge.
