SINNERS will be frustrated to find themselves in the 0-1 bracket after pushing FlyQuest all the way to overtime in Round 1. It was a match they easily could have won, and despite the defeat, there were still plenty of positives to take away from the performance. NRG also suffered a competitive loss, falling 13-10 against GamerLegion in a match where they struggled to convert key rounds.

This matchup looks very favorable for SINNERS. The Czech squad entered Cologne with stronger form than NRG and continue to have a more reliable map pool across the current rotation. Much will depend on where the veto lands, but SINNERS generally look more comfortable in these lower-bracket battles than their North American counterparts. NRG have yet to fully convince since their roster changes earlier in the year, and unless that suddenly changes, SINNERS should have enough quality to secure their first Major victory.
