Week 2 Day 2 comes with some pressure across the board. G2 needs to justify their preseason favorite tag, Los Ratones still hunting their first win in the pro scene, and teams like MKOI and NAVI are looking to lock in their early momentum.
Team Vitality vs Shifters

Vitality needs a steadier showing today after yesterday’s mess-up against Heretics. The game that suits them the most is keeping lanes stable and letting Humanoid control the game through midlane, instead of forcing early fights, which was the problem against Heretics.
Shifters are the opposite kind of team. They want those early skirmishes, and when those work they snowball quickly. But their issue is consistency – if they fail early, their setups post-laning phase tend to fall apart.
If Vitality avoids the early overextending and play through objectives, they should take the W in this one.
Prediction: Team Vitality.
SK Gaming vs Natus Vincere

SK still struggles to put together a complete and clean game. They’re showing some moments of aggression, but they’re rarely turning into objectives control and clean mid-game.
NAVI have looked far more composed so far in the season, especially playing through early pressure around mid and jungle, and they don’t really need to blow games open early to feel comfortable going into the mid-game. They’re happy with trading objectives and letting opponents do the first mistake, which worked well for them until now.
SK can absolutely make this game competitive if their early fights land, but if it never spirals out of NAVI’s control, their discipline takes over.
Prediction: NAVI.
Team Heretics vs Los Ratones

Heretics are looking like they’re quietly improving over the last few games, especially in the laning-to-objectives part of the game. They’re not doing anything flashy, but they look more coordinated in setting up vision control and fights.
Los Ratones are still hoping for their first win after coming into the LEC, but their aggressive style continues to backfire. They can win games by dragging opponents into their type of chaos, but if Heretics don’t let LR get free fights early, this should easily stay in their hands.
Prediction: Team Heretics.
Movistar KOI vs Karmine Corp Blue

KOI are one of the most reliable teams when it comes to creating early pressure and translating it into objectives. Elyoya consistently set the pace of the game, forcing their opponent to react instead of dictate the game.
Karmine Corp Blue are looking good at the early game part of their matches, able to punish mistakes – but they’re looking far less comfortable once the game slow down and require clean and calculated setups.
This matchup heavily favors KOI. Their consistency in early-to-mid transition makes them the much safer pick here.
Prediction: MKOI.
Fnatic vs GIANTX

Fnatic have shown they can stay competitive even when games don’t go their way, by avoiding unnecessary fights and playing for cleaner setups. GIANTX, however, are looking like the most disciplined teams so far. They rarely hand out early advantages, and consistently trade objectives.
This game will come down to patience. Fnatic are more than able to punish mistakes, but GIANTX rarely makes any. If the map’s controlled, and the rotations clean, GIANTX tend to take over. Fnatic will need to force GIANTX into early messy fights to take this.
Prediction: GIANTX.
Karmine Corp vs G2 Esports

G2 finally got their first win yesterday after a rough start, bulldozing through Shifters with a statement. This feels like the game that G2 must win to finally stabilize after not matching the preseason expectations. When G2 don’t fall behind too much in the early-game, their mid-game decisions and rotations still look step above most teams.
Karmine Corp have looked steadier overall so far, but their wins came from controlled games where opponents allow them to dictate the pace. And against G2, that comfort can vanish quickly.
If G2 avoids giving them early advantage, this is the match where they can justify the “favorites” label.
Prediction: G2 Esports.
